- btcd now has a full test vector compliant implementation of BIP-340! This creates a new Schnorr package and moves the existing ECDSA implementation.
- Antoine Poinsot posted to the Bitcoin-Dev mailing list a description of various concerns regarding how to fee-bump pre-signed transactions used in vaults and contract protocols such as Lightning Network.
Litecoin:
- David Burkett publishes his November progress update on MWEB and the overall roadmap. With several vulnerability fixes now deployed, the roadmap shows that they are aiming for the first LTC release containing MWEB code to be in January 2022 with signaling by miners occurring later that month.

- On December 9th, 2021 the Arrow Glacier upgrade successfully forked! This upgrade was similar to Muir Glacier which changed the parameters of the Ice Age/Difficulty Bomb.
