- Robinhood plans to add Lightning Network support to its platform.
- Strike announced Shopify integration, partnerships with NCR and Blackhawk bringing Lightning payments to major merchants.
Ethereum:
- The first PoS (Proof-of-Stake) mainnet test shadow fork on Ethereum was successful on April 11th, 2022.
- Ben Edgington shares that latest in the Execution Layer with focus on The Merge, mainnet shadow forks, and the latest EIPs.
- Erigon releases the latest v2022.04.01-beta version! This fixes the integration tool with a full reset for the Finish stage. As anticipation for The Merge grows, the cadence of Erigon beta releases will decrease with focus on stabilizing a new alpha version.
- Deep dive into EIP-4626, the Tokenized Vault Standard which will be used by a ton of protocols as they look to implement a standard API for tokenized vaults representing shares of a single underlying ERC-20 token.
- Condrieu testnet has been relaunched and enhanced as of April 5th, 2022.

- SyncSwap is introduced! This powerful and seamless decentralized exchange on zkSync will allow custom fee structures, advanced routers, and more all while utilizing zero knowledge proofs with scalability and mainnet security.
- Cosmos Hub has successfully upgraded to Theta! This upgrade brings SDK v0.45.1, IBC v3.0.0, and the much anticipated Interchain Accounts!!
- OpenZeppelin releases contracts for Cairo v0.1.0, which are built for StarkWare’s StarkNet! The release contains several smart contracts including ERC-20, ERC-721 and an account abstraction contract developed by Argent.
- MakerDAO and Maple partnership is proposed which would aim to scale Maker to reach an expanded market and provide large amounts of capital backed by real world assets through Maple’s RWA to supply DAI.
- Osmosis is featured on Messari and dives into diffusing liquidity across the Cosmos ecosystem.
- The Arbitrum Nitro devnet is now live! Faster and cheaper transactions are coming to users and developers can now get their hands on WASM + Geth.
- Cake Wallet v4.4.0 has been released! This update includes a full UX redesign, better subaddresses and more.
- Phantom now supports both universal links and deep links! This unlocks functionality for mobile apps such as signing in with Phantom, verifying NFTs, and placing trade orders.
- The Electric Coin Company releases Zcashd v4.6.0-2. Previous versions will reach EOS (End-of-Service) on April 13th, 2022 - thus all nodes should upgrade.

- Juno Network was halted due to a CosmWasm bug that was exploited through a suspicious contract that allowed consensus breaking queries. Full thread and breakdown here.
- Continued reports are surfacing regarding account spoofing vulnerabilities on OpenSea by minting and transferring from verified accounts.

- The Electric Coin Company and Filecoin Foundation agree to make the Halo 2 codebase available to everyone under an MIT or Apache 2.0 open-source license and launch a new RFP-style grants program.
- Blockstream announces in collaboration with Blocks that they will be building a fully solar-powered Bitcoin mining facility powered by Tesla Solar PV and Megapack.
- Haseeb Qureshi shares Part 1 of a new podcast where Naval Ravikant, Haseeb and Vitalik Buterin dive into all the questions about Ethereum and more!
- Circle, the issuer of USDC, announces a $400M funding round with investments from BlackRock, Fidelity Management and Research, Marshall Wace LLP and Fin Capital. The round is expected to close in the second quarter.
- Nomad announces the close of their $22M seed round led by Polychain Capital with participation from 1kx, Ethereal Ventures, and Hack VC.
- BloXroute raised $70M in a Series-B funding round led by SoftBank Vision Fund 2 to further expand into DeFi through Ethereum, Polygon, and Binance Smart Chain.
