Bitcoin:
- Developers on the Bitcoin-Dev mailing list have been discussing improvements to CoinJoins in general utilizing keyed-verification anonymous credentials, homomorphic value commitments, and zero knowledge proofs.
Litecoin:
- Litecoin Core v0.18.1 has been released! This is a new major version release including new features, performance improvements and bugfixes.
Ethereum:
- This past week there were quite the transactions taking place on Ethereum. Three transactions were executed where the transaction fee was around 10,668 ETH to send solely 0.55 or 350ETH. The address behind this was: 0xcdd6a2b9dd3e386c8cd4a7ada5cab2f1c561182d. Both miners that grabbed this transaction waited roughly 4-7 days for the sender to come forward before dispersing the funds to the mining pool.
- Matter Labs evaluates the various Ethereum layer-2 scaling solutions.
- Ethereum Foundation releases a post on EIP-1559 and the Ethereum Improvement Horizon.
- Bitfly updated their Beacon Chain explorer with Prysmatic Lab’s updated Onyx testnet and linking of ETH1.0 to 2.0.

- Coinbase launches Rosetta, an open-source specification and set of tools that makes integrating with blockchains simpler and more reliable. This project was originally developed as a way to integrate blockchains into the Coinbase platform more securely and seamlessly.
- Kraken announces that clients can now fund their account and trade with the Australian dollar (AUD). They will additionally offer funding to domestic clients who are making deposits through Osko and PayID enabled Australian banks.
