- Gelato, which is now live on Ethereum mainnet, integrates Chainlink to provide developers with tools to quickly build and deploy automated applications.
- Bitcoin and Lightning security company, Casa, conducts a server performance report on Electrum.
- New platform, xToken, has been released which aims to build smart contracts that wrap complicated staking and liquidity strategies into a single ERC-20 token. xTokens are free-floating ERC-20s that can be traded, added to liquidity pools and pledges as collateral for loans.

- Cryptocurrency wallet MetaMask releases their latest version, v8. This new major release comes with UI/UX updates, onboarding library for web3 developers, and updated EIP-2255 permissions system.
- Ledger Nano X’s first firmware update, v1.2.4-2 has been released with security enhancements and further additions.
- Lightning developer and founder of Zap Inc., Jack Maller, announced the Strike public beta. This new app, Strike, is available on iOS, Android, and Chrome and will allow anyone in the world to interact with Bitcoin and Lightning Network protocols using only a bank account and/or debit card.
- BitPay finally adds support for SegWit in their BitPay App.
- Cardano Developer IOHK announces it will launch the “cFund” in partnership with Wave Financial Group. This is the first venture fund to support the adoption of IOHK’s blockchain platforms. Full press briefing here.
- IOHK and Coinbase Custody also signed an agreement to allow ada holders to store and stake their investments.
- Switzerland’s InCore Bank AG has become the first financial institution in the country to offer banking services to Kraken clients. As noted by CoinDesk, the companies plan to enable deposits in British pounds (GBP), Swiss francs (CHF) and Canadian dollars (CAD) in Q3 2020.

- Binance backed, Travala.com, joins forces with Expedia Partner Solutions (EPS) to book trips with more than 30 cryptocurrencies including: Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Binance Chain (BNB), and Travala.com’s native currency - (AVA).
- Ocean Protocol delivers a proof-of-concept for Daimler AG, more commonly known as Mercedes, in collaboration with Daimler South East Asia to explore the use of decentralized data sharing.
- Binance has completed its acquisition of Swipe, the industry’s leading multi-asset digital wallet and Visa debit card platform. The two companies will work together to further mainstream adoption of crypto and bridge the gap between fiat and digital assets.
