- Lightning Labs releases the latest in their Builder’s Guide series, this one focused on Lightning Loop. Lightning Loop is a service that allows users to make a Lightning transaction to an on-chain Bitcoin address, or send on-chain Bitcoin directly into a Lightning channel.
- Taproot activated on Bitcoin’s testnet last week!
Ethereum:
- Prysmatic Labs releases their June Development Update focused on the upcoming Altair hard fork for the Ethereum Beacon Chain, changes in Prysm v2.0.0, and more!
- Etherscan has added post London fork EIP-1559 stats to their testnet explorer to show the savings a user got from using an EIP-1559 style transaction.
- Ethereum Core Devs release a roadmap for the various tasks ahead to make The Merge ready for mainnet release.
- Ethereum Name Service (ENS) and the Ethereum Foundation are co-sponsoring a grant and RFP to support standardizing Sign-in with Ethereum.
Other Chains:
- Nethermind announces their partnership with StarkWare which will allow the two to work together on StarkNet, the Voyager explorer, and provide an EVM to the Cairo compiler.
- Uniswap deployed V3 to the Ethereum layer-2 network, Optimism.
- Synthetix announces that exchanges on Optimism will be enabled the week of July 26th, 2021, with a final deployment date pending Spartan Council approval.
- Infura now supports Arbitrum! Users and developers can now scale their Dapps and achieve faster throughout and cheaper gas using layer-2.

- Ren announces that renDOGE liquidity mining on QuickSwap is now live! Users can now bridge DOGE over to Polygon via the RenBridge and share in over 5K USD in daily rewards.
- Balancer shares the launch of stable pools. Stable pools make Balancer Protocol the first AMM with three pool types: weighted pools, stable pools, and Element Finance pools.
- MyEtherWallet now supports Polygon! MyEtherWallet is a free, open-source, and secure platform for interacting with the Ethereum ecosystem and now Polygon.
- The Graph launches the decentralized data economy with Curation, Graph Explorer, and Subgraph Studio. Now anyone can organize and curate data via subgraphs on the Graph Explorer and Subgraph Studio.
- Zapper releases their latest update which now allows users to deposit assets and earn interest on Zapper through their new Aave integration.

- dYdX announces that they have reached $3B in total volume on their layer-2 Perpetuals powered by StarkWare since launching publicly on mainnet in April.
- Hop Protocol launches the Hop Bridge, starting with instant USDC transfers between Ethereum, Polygon, and xDai.
